Lineup of Sponsors Announced for this Year's AT&T Nation's Football Classic
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Events DC today announced a lineup of sponsors for this year’s AT&T Nation’s Football Classic™. Pepsi, Wells Fargo, United States Marine Corps, Driven Golf, Dow Lohnes Sports & Entertainment, Destination DC and Marriott International join title sponsor AT&T in support of the second annual Classic weekend. The football game features Morehouse College versus Howard University on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 3:30 p.m. at RFK Stadium. Sponsorship activations include retail promotions and fan engagement.
“We are thrilled once again with the level of support from national and local sponsors for the AT&T Nation’s Football Classic™,” said Erik A. Moses, managing director of Events DC’s Sports and Entertainment Division. “The group of corporate partners that have come on board to support the Classic in its second year reflects the success of last year’s inaugural event, and the attractiveness of this new annual event in our nation’s capital. The important role these sponsors play in enhancing the entire weekend of events showcases their commitment to supporting historically black colleges and universities and the black college football experience.”
Fan engagement includes the Pepsi® Fan Festival, to be held from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the RFK Stadium Festival Grounds (Lot 5) on game day. The Fan Festival will include live music, interactive games, giveaways and fun for the whole family. Additional sponsor activities will be activated throughout the free events during the weekend and the football game.
